Cheryl Esposito welcomes NICOLAS ORTNER, Creator and Executive Producer of the breakthrough documentary, “The Tapping Solution,” and author of the new book, “The Tapping Solution: A Revolutionary System for Stress- Free Living.” Nick’s work explores EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) or “tapping,” a healing tool based on ancient Chinese acupressure and modern psychology. EFT suggests we can tap into our body’s brilliance for healing. Nick is a “searcher,” constantly researching, exploring and experimenting with the incredible information all around that can change lives. When he found EFT Tapping, and was startled by the results, he knew he had to find a way to get this information into the mainstream to help others. Since then, he has supported charities devoted to healing trauma such as ProjectLight: Rwanda, which aids genocide victims; The Veterans Stress Project, for veterans with PTSD; and You Can Thrive! for women with cancer. His most recent opportunity to help, hit very close to home. Nick lives in Newtown, CT, the place where a shooting tragedy occurred at Sandy Hook Elementary School in December 2012. 26 people – 20 of them children- were killed that day. The community continues to reel in shock and grief. Nick will share a story of the help EFT/tapping provided to some in the aftermath, as the community attempts to heal and thrive once again. Join Cheryl Esposito and Nick Ortner to learn a different way of healing our emotional self.
