The Power of Our Narrative & The Way of Peace

Cheryl Esposito welcomes James O’Dea, international peace activist, he conducts reconciliation dialogues around the world; & author: Cultivating Peace: Becoming a 21st-Century Peace Ambassador; and The Conscious Activist: Where Activism Meets Mysticism.

Friday April 13, 2018 10:00 am Pacific Time

James is former Washington D.C. Office Director of Amnesty International; co-authored & co-led the Social Healing Project; & extended faculty & past president of the Institute of Noetic Sciences.
Does peace begin with me? Yes, says James O’Dea. Peace is not an event or an agreement. Peace is a way of being. It requires our acknowledgment of our personal narratives of self, of others, of the world. No matter our lineage, background, cultural experience, economic success or challenge, each and every one of us hold a narrative about self and “the other.”
When we begin with our self, we contribute to the fabric of social healing. James implores us: “We are in an evolution of consciousness and the time to activate our will – NOT our willfulness – is now.”
His is the path of peacemaker. What is yours? Join Cheryl Esposito & James O’Dea to learn the power of our narrative & the way of peace.
