Barnet Bain

Cheryl Esposito welcomes Barnet Bain, award-winning filmmaker and author. His film Milton’s Secret, opens Friday September 30th in select theatres worldwide and on demand, with the gala premiere that evening at the Vancouver International Film Festival.

Friday September 30, 2016 10:00 am Pacific Time

Milton’s Secret, starring Donald Sutherland, is a film based on the book of the same name, written by Eckhart Tolle & Robert Friedman. Barnet has a career of telling spiritually themed stories. He wants his films to stir our consciousness, not preach to it. This film succeeds. He honors the story and its presentation as an exploration.
Have you ever questioned your beliefs? Barnet offers that the most powerful questions we can ask about our beliefs allow deep self-awareness, leading to intentional choices: “Is this [belief] true with me now? Or is this a ‘hand-me-down’ belief? Where did I learn this?” You may be surprised by your own answers. “Milton’s Secret” is a story of families, and how uncertainty and their beliefs about uncertainty, affect their experience of life, relationships, and the shaping of a child’s worldview. Join Cheryl Esposito & Barnet Bain to stir your consciousness of belief!
